Naturopathy
A Naturopath looks at the whole person.
A naturopathic appointment begins with the initial consultation. This takes place in the clinic and involves taking history of medical; symptoms; lifestyle – including physical, mental, emotional, environmental, and social aspects; family health; nutrition; prior surgeries; any supplements currently taking; and any prescribed medication. Physical observations may include iris, nail, skin, tongue signs; general appearance; a zinc challenge; and blood pressure. Also discussed will be what you would like to achieve out of our time together.
Further testing may be recommended, for example Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis, Biocompatible Hair Testing, or Functional Pathology.
Follow Up Appointments
A follow-up appointment will then entail handing over a health and wellness protocol that may include nutrition, herbal, homoeopathy, or lifestyle advice. Prior to the follow-up appointment a considerable amount of research will go into preparing a protocol so the best plan can be achieved.
The second and any ongoing follow-up appointments are to discuss progress and make any amendments to the recommended protocol.
Acute Appointments:
The acute appointment is for existing clients only. This is for sudden onset conditions. When feeling better it is recommended to return for a follow-up appointment to investigate anything else that may be happening.
Herbal Formulas:
These are a blend of four to five herbal tinctures tailored specifically to your needs. They do have interactions to drugs which have been investigated prior to dispensing to you. Same as any medicine, they are not to be given to anyone else.
